The beginnings of Bach flower remedies were founded in the 1920's by Dr Edward Bach who was a medical doctor, bacteriologist and homeopath. With his research of thousands of plants over the following years, he slowly discovered the specific flowers with the healing qualities required. By the mid 1930's he had discovered 38 distinct remedies, and his book "The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies" was published.
You have your own energy, as does everything around you. This energy has its own vibration, or rhythm. These vibrations and rhythms can change, either through your own thoughts and behaviours, or due to outside influences. When we experience positive emotions we have higher frequency vibrations, while negative emotions vibrate at a lower frequency. There are many ways to alter these rhythms. Bach flower remedies are one such way, as each flower has its own vibration. By taking a flower essence, we take in that rhythm and and balance our own vibration.
Bach flower remedies are a safe and natural way to help restore your body's natural balance. They alleviate our negative emotions, such as fear, doubts and hatred. We do this by looking at the 38 different flower essences and making the correct combination of up to 7 essences for your remedy.
It's actually very simple. You take about 4 droplets of your remedy, up to 4 times a day until you feel better. You can do this either by putting the drops into a glass of water and drinking it, or dropping the essence directly onto your tongue.
A healing crisis is your body's reaction to the toxic emotions leaving your body. Which may mean you feel worse before you feel better, but this is a good thing as it means that all of the toxic emotions are leaving your body.
The more serious or in-depth the problem is, the more likely you are to experience a healing crisis, though this should be welcomed as it means that you are letting go of that problem.
Detoxification is meant to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul, which can bring you clarity and well being in your life .
A healing crisis should only last around 3 days but they can include: fatigue, diarrhoea, aches and soreness, low-grade fever, anxiety, mood swings, nausea, skin irritation, stuffy nose, congestion or low blood pressure. The more serve the toxicity is then the more serve the affects can be. As your body expels the toxins you may feel low energy and literally feel ill, if this happens take it as a sign your body is flushing out all those toxins and waste within you.
Handling a healing crisis.
It is important for you to stay hydrated so drink plenty of purified water if you can, it is also okay to drink lemon juice and some herbal teas, this will also help flush out the toxins in your body. Other tools you can use are meditation or massage if you are experiencing stress or anxiety.
